IdealSync is operated by WRSAV LTD ("IdealSync", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 9-11 New Broadway, London, England, W5 5AW. This policy explains what information we collect through idealsync.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as the relationship requires.
Information we collect
- Details you provide. When you register interest, we collect the information you submit: typically your name, work email address, the brand or company you represent, and anything you choose to tell us about your situation.
- Basic usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic. It does not use cookies, does not build advertising profiles, and is not used to identify you.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we are a fit to work together.
- To contact you about your registration of interest and, with your agreement, follow up.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
For visitors in the EEA and UK, our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal effects.
IdealSync MCP connector
By continuing, you agree that your interactions with the IdealSync connector are recorded by IdealSync to improve the product and tailor guidance to you. We ask you to confirm this before we send your sign-in code, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete your connector data.
In practice, that means: when you sign up for the free IdealSync MCP connector, we record your interactions with it, namely the requests your AI assistant makes through the connector, the responses it returns, and the outcomes. These records are linked to your account. We use them to improve the product and to tailor the connector’s guidance to you. We never sell this data. To have your connector data deleted, email hello@idealsync.com and we will remove it.
The connector also remembers business context you tell it, so you do not have to repeat yourself in every conversation: which marketplaces you sell in, your category, your team size, the tools you already use, your brand names, notes you ask it to keep, and the results of the automation health check. This is business information only. It refuses to store anything that looks like a password, key or token, and you should never paste credentials into a chat with any assistant. You can erase all of it yourself at any time by asking the connector to forget you, which deletes those records for real rather than hiding them.
Who processes it
We share data only with service providers who help us run IdealSync, currently our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database provider (Supabase), and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. Some of these providers are based in the United States; where personal data of UK/EEA individuals is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
We retain registration-of-interest details for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue a possible engagement, and then delete or anonymise them when they are no longer needed, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@idealsync.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
